Mr. & Mrs. Laughlin’s wedding day at Brick and Mortar in Wichita was a dream come true! The day was filled with heartfelt teary-eyed moments and genuine laughter. Although we had to go off-script, the bride and groom trusted the process and got the photos they had always dreamed of!

A Beautiful Venue: Brick & Mortar

This couple chose Brick & Mortar as their venue, one of the stunning wedding venues in downtown Wichita. The concrete accents and bold chandeliers provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the industrial-style accents added a touch of modernity. The large windows brought in plenty of natural light, which made it the perfect setting for capturing beautiful, natural photos. The venue provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s wedding photos, and we took full advantage of all of the unique features the space had to offer. From the intimate getting-ready rooms to the charming courtyard, we explored every inch of the venue and captured all the most memorable moments. Brick & Mortar was truly the perfect setting for this couple’s special day, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.

Behind the Scenes

On the wedding day, an unexpected storm came in, forcing us to go off-script. Despite the weather, we made sure to capture all of the most precious moments of the day. The couple had a special first look with the groom and her father, followed by bridal party portraits. Even with the rain, we captured beautiful outdoor portraits of the bride and groom using umbrellas to add a unique and unforgettable touch. With some adjustments and creativity, the couple could still have all of the special moments of their big day documented for a lifetime of cherished memories.

There were so many heartwarming and humorous moments, creating a high-energy and stress-free environment despite the unforeseen weather changes.
